v2.258.0June 29, 2026

Scheduling and navigation fixes on mobile

The crew schedule worker column no longer over-widens on phones, sticky cells stay under the menu in landscape, and the bottom navigation bar has defined edges.

Fixed
  • On the crew schedule, a long position, project, and site line no longer stretches the worker column, so more days stay visible on a phone.
  • In landscape, the schedule’s sticky worker column no longer overlaps the bottom navigation bar.
  • The mobile bottom navigation bar now has rounded corners and side edges when it is centered on wider screens.
v2.257.0June 29, 2026

Crew schedule fits better on mobile

The worker column is narrower on phones so more days of the schedule are visible at once.

Improved
  • On mobile, the crew schedule worker column is now narrower, so the matrix shows about twice as many days without scrolling. The desktop layout is unchanged.
v2.256.0June 29, 2026

Crew Scheduling

A new scheduling module under Operations: assign rotations, see coverage in a matrix, mark travel and vacation, send notices, and export to Excel.

Added
  • Crew Scheduling under the Operations tab. Assign a worker a rotation by days on, days off, shift, and date range, and it auto-populates every working day to the end date.
  • Day, night, and rotating shifts, with travel, vacation, leave, and off marked by colour-coded icons. Tap any day to change it or add a note.
  • A matrix view with horizontal scrolling, a day and night coverage strip, filters by position, project, and site, and search by name.
  • Tag a worker on a day to email them a notice (for example travel details). Warnings flag long runs of consecutive on-days and certifications that expire inside the schedule range.
  • Export to a branded, colour-coded Excel file that mirrors your current filter, with a coverage tally and notes as cell comments.
v2.255.0June 29, 2026

Polished mobile navigation bar

The bottom navigation bar now has a frosted-glass finish and the create button has a raised three-dimensional look.

Improved
  • The mobile bottom navigation bar now uses the same frosted-glass style as the top bar.
  • The central create button has a glossy, raised three-dimensional finish with a soft red glow.
v2.254.0June 29, 2026

Smoother card lift and consistent bars everywhere

The hover lift on cards is now smooth and fluid, and every progress bar in the app uses the same three-dimensional style.

Improved
  • Clickable cards now lift with a smooth, fluid motion and a deeper shadow so they look like they are rising off the page.
  • Upload, download, onboarding, and acknowledgement progress bars now use the same rounded, three-dimensional style as the dashboard and COR charts for a consistent look throughout.
v2.253.0June 29, 2026

More depth across charts, cards, and the top bar

The new three-dimensional look now extends to the dashboard rings and bars, the COR readiness bars, clickable cards, and a frosted top bar.

Improved
  • Dashboard donut and compliance rings now have a gradient, a soft shadow, and a smooth sweep-in animation.
  • The dashboard hazard bars and the COR readiness bars now use the same rounded, animated three-dimensional fill.
  • Clickable cards lift gently on hover, and the sticky top bar now has a frosted-glass effect.
v2.252.0June 29, 2026

A more defined, three-dimensional interface

Cards, buttons, tables, and charts now have more depth and definition in both dark and light mode.

Improved
  • Cards and panels now have clearer edges, soft shadows, and a subtle gradient so they stand out from the background. This is a noticeable fix in dark mode (edges were hard to see on some monitors) and in light mode (cards now separate from the page instead of blending in).
  • Buttons and inputs have a subtle, tactile finish, and chart bars now fill in with a smooth animation and a rounded three-dimensional look.
v2.251.0June 29, 2026

Require two-step verification organization-wide

Owners and admins can now require two-step verification for everyone, or just for elevated roles.

Added
  • A two-step verification policy on the Organization settings page: leave it optional, require it for Owners, Admins, and Managers, or require it for every member.
  • When two-step verification is required, a member in scope who has not set it up is guided through setup the next time they open the app, before they can go any further.
v2.250.0June 29, 2026

Two-step verification

Add an authenticator-app code on top of your password, with an admin reset for anyone who loses their device.

Added
  • Two-step verification (2FA) you can turn on from your profile: scan a QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Apple Passwords) and enter a 6-digit code at each sign-in.
  • A sign-in challenge step that asks for the code after your password when two-step verification is on.
  • You can add a second device as a backup and remove devices at any time from your profile.
  • Owners and administrators can reset two-step verification on a member from the Users page if that member loses their authenticator (there are no recovery codes, so this is the way back in).
v2.249.0June 29, 2026

Action plan dashboard, notes, and a record of what was done

The COR page now shows an action plan dashboard, and each action takes notes and a record of what was done before it is marked complete.

Added
  • The COR readiness page now shows an action plan dashboard card with live counts of open, in progress, and done actions.
  • Every action item now has a Notes field for ongoing working notes (progress, blockers, who is handling it).
  • Marking an action done now asks you to document what was done (for example, developed and approved a policy). That record is kept with the action and shows under the Completed list with the date it was finished.
v2.248.0June 29, 2026

Action plan keeps a record of completed work, and neutral wording

Regenerating the action plan now keeps your completed actions as a record, and the readiness module reads cleanly for any jurisdiction.

Improved
  • Regenerating recommended actions now keeps any action you marked done under a Completed heading, so you keep a record of what was finished. Outstanding generated actions are still cleared and rebuilt from your current gaps, and actions you added by hand are kept.
Changed
  • COR / SECOR readiness now uses jurisdiction-neutral wording throughout (evidence binder labels, the knowledge base, and the SECOR eligibility pre-check), so teams in any province can use it to benchmark and prepare for an audit.
v2.247.1June 29, 2026

Clearer wait time on the AI assessment

The AI assessment now tells you it can take a few minutes the first time while it reads scanned documents.

Improved
  • The AI assessment now sets expectations that it can take a few minutes, especially the first run while it reads scanned documents, and asks you to keep the page open until it finishes.
v2.247.0June 29, 2026

Scanned-document reading and action ownership

The AI assessment now reads scanned PDFs and photos, and COR / SECOR actions can be assigned to a team member and appear in their My Tasks.

Added
  • OCR: the AI assessment now reads scanned PDFs and photos of documents, not just typed ones, so uploaded signed policies and certificates count as evidence. Extracted text is cached so later runs are fast.
  • Assign an owner to each COR / SECOR action. Assigned actions appear in that person’s My Tasks list, with due dates and overdue flags.
v2.246.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR: one-step AI assessment with auto-linked evidence

The AI assessment now pulls in your records, reviews your documents, and links evidence to each requirement in a single step.

Changed
  • The AI assessment is now one step: it pulls in evidence from your other modules (auto-credit), reviews your document library, and links the documents it finds to each requirement. The separate Auto-credit button has been removed.
  • When a document is linked as evidence for a requirement, that requirement is marked In place. The Health and Safety Policy is the exception: it stays governed by the annual sign-off rule.
  • Manually linking a document to a requirement now also marks it In place.
Improved
  • The evidence binder description now refers to your audit elements rather than a specific certifying partner.
v2.245.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR: auditor-ready evidence binder

Link documents to each requirement and export a zip organized by audit element, ready for your auditor.

Added
  • Evidence binder export: one click produces a zip with a folder per audit element, each containing an index of its requirements with status and approval sign-off, plus the documents linked as evidence. A readiness summary and your certificate and uploaded records sit at the top.
  • Link evidence to requirements: in the assessment, attach documents from your library to each requirement. Linked documents are what the binder files under each element.
v2.244.0June 29, 2026

Document formatting, sign-off titles, and smarter COR drafting

Controlled documents now display with proper formatting, capture the signer job title, and feed sign-off dates into COR readiness.

Added
  • Controlled documents now display with proper formatting (headings, lists, bold, and italic) instead of raw symbols. Tap Edit to make changes, with a formatting toolbar, then Done to see the finished document.
  • Approval sign-off now captures the signer job title and includes it in the PDF, so an auditor can see who signed and at what level.
  • The COR / SECOR action plan has a Regenerate option that clears the generated actions and rebuilds a fresh list from your current gaps, keeping anything you added by hand.
Improved
  • Drafting a document with AI from the action plan now updates the existing document and bumps its revision when one already exists, instead of creating a duplicate.
  • Auto-credit now reads document sign-off data, so a Health and Safety Policy signed by senior management within the year credits the policy requirement automatically (and flags it when the annual re-sign is overdue).
v2.243.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR: auto-credit from your records

Credit readiness requirements automatically from the inspections, training, hazards, and other records you already keep in Connect.

Added
  • Auto-credit from records: one click checks your inspections, investigations, training, hazards, toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and emergency records, then credits the readiness requirements they cover, with a note pointing at the evidence.
  • Auto-credited findings are badged so you can tell them apart, and a summary shows how many records were found in each area.
Improved
  • Auto-credit and the AI assessment never change a finding you set by hand, and real records take precedence over a document-title guess.
v2.242.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR: action plan, AI document drafting, and SECOR eligibility

Turn your gaps into a tracked action plan, draft missing documents with AI, and check SECOR eligibility.

Added
  • Action plan: generate a recommended action for every requirement scored partial or missing, each with a clear recommendation. Track actions as open, in progress, or done, set due dates, and add your own. Everyone in your organization can see the plan.
  • Draft with AI: for an action about a missing or weak policy or plan, AI drafts a starting document into the right library folder, tailored to your business, ready for you to review and approve.
  • SECOR eligibility pre-check: record headcount, required courses, assessor training, documentation window, and last ACSA course date, and the dashboard flags anything that would stop a SECOR submission.
Improved
  • Assessment notes now show as a readable block you can see in full, with an Edit button, instead of a single-line field that cut off long notes.
v2.241.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR: AI assessment and certificate storage

AI can now pre-fill your readiness assessment from your documents, and you can store your certificate and audit records.

Added
  • AI initial assessment: review your document library and get a proposed status and rationale for every requirement, badged so you know which findings came from AI. It never overwrites a finding you set by hand, and you can adjust everything.
  • Upload your current COR or SECOR certificate, a previous audit, or an action plan as an image or PDF, stored right alongside your program.
Improved
  • Tidied the program details section so the heading and the type selector no longer repeat the word certification.
v2.240.0June 29, 2026

SECOR readiness

COR / SECOR Readiness now scores SECOR on its own ACSA instrument, with audit-year and owner/operator settings.

Added
  • Choosing SECOR now scores your program against the ACSA small-employer instrument (its own questions and point weighting), instead of the COR element set.
  • A new audit-year setting switches the pass bar between a certification year (80% overall with 50% in every element) and a maintenance year (60% overall, no element minimum).
  • SECOR adds an owner/operator setting: it scores at 80% overall with no element minimum, and questions that do not apply to owner/operators are marked not applicable automatically.
Improved
  • The readiness dashboard and assessment now show the pass bar that matches your certification type, audit year, and org type.
v2.239.0June 29, 2026

COR / SECOR readiness

A new COR / SECOR readiness area: assess your program against the audit elements and see your readiness score.

Added
  • COR / SECOR Readiness is now live in the menu. It scores your program across the ten audit elements and shows whether you are on track against the 80% overall and 50% per-element bar.
  • A self-assessment lets owners, admins, and managers mark each requirement (in place, partial, missing, or N/A) with notes, while every member can view readiness.
  • Record your certification type, number, and expiry. The dashboard counts down to renewal and flags when you are within six months and should book your audit.
v2.238.0June 28, 2026

One Card from Training

Reach a worker's One Card straight from the Training area.

Added
  • A My Card button on the Training page opens your own One Card.
  • On the Training Matrix, expanding a worker now shows a link to that worker's One Card.
v2.237.0June 28, 2026

Printable wallet card

The One Card prints as a professional wallet-sized cut-out, and long certification names now wrap fully.

Added
  • Print now produces a wallet-sized (credit-card size) branded card to cut out and carry, with the worker photo, name, company, and the verification QR code.
Improved
  • Long certification names now wrap so the full name is readable on the card instead of being cut off.
v2.236.0June 28, 2026

TruStar One Card

A digital training card for every worker, with a QR code that verifies their current certifications.

Added
  • TruStar One Card. Every worker has a training card showing their photo, name, job title, and certifications with live expiry status (valid, expiring, or expired in red).
  • Each card carries a QR code. Anyone can scan it to verify the worker's current certifications on a public page, no sign-in needed.
  • Workers open their card from My Profile. Managers and admins open any worker's card from that person's user profile. The card can be printed.
v2.235.0June 28, 2026

Permit monitoring and live PDF

Permits now support periodic monitoring with a public QR code, and the permit PDF shows the live status, history, and monitoring log.

Added
  • Periodic monitoring on permits. Anyone signed in can log a gas re-test, fire-watch check, or other update from the permit, capturing their name, optional company, and GPS location.
  • A monitoring QR code prints on the permit PDF (and shows on the permit). Anyone on site can scan it to view the current permit and expiry and add a monitoring update without signing in. They enter their name and company, and their location is captured.
Fixed
  • The permit PDF now shows the live permit status (active, suspended, closed, or expired) instead of always reading as submitted, along with the permit number, type, issue and expiry, the permit history, and the monitoring log. It is rebuilt on every download so it always matches the current permit.
v2.234.0June 28, 2026

Permit lifecycle and home

Permits now live in their own area with status tabs and a full lifecycle: extend, suspend, resume, and close.

Added
  • Permit lifecycle: an issuer or manager can extend a permit to a new expiry, suspend and resume it, or close it. The permit shows its full history, and a permit past its validity reads as Expired.
  • The Permits screen now has Active, Suspended, and Closed tabs.
  • Permits appear in Today's Paperwork, labelled as a Permit with the permit type, and viewing a permit highlights Permits in the side menu.
Changed
  • Issued permits no longer appear in the forms submissions list. They live only in the Permits area.
v2.233.0June 28, 2026

Permit PDF signatures

Permit sign-off now appears correctly on the exported PDF, and the back button on a permit returns to Permits.

Fixed
  • The exported permit PDF now shows each signatory with their role, company, and signature, instead of a placeholder.
  • Viewing a completed permit and pressing back now returns to the Permits screen rather than the forms submissions list.
v2.232.0June 28, 2026

Permit issuing fix

Permits now issue reliably, with numbers generated inside the app, plus a couple of permit screen fixes.

Fixed
  • Permits could not be issued because of a missing database function. Permit numbers are now generated within the app, so issuing works without that dependency.
Changed
  • The Issue Permit button at the bottom of the form now matches the one at the top, and the back link on a permit returns to the Permits screen instead of Forms.
v2.231.0June 28, 2026

Permit issuing refinements

Cleaner permit issuing: a clear Issue Permit action, hazards generated from the scope of work, and a date and time expiry.

Changed
  • The button to issue a permit now reads Issue Permit, and permit hazards are generated from the Scope of Work entered above, so there is no need to describe the task twice.
  • Permit validity is now set as an expiry date and time rather than a number of hours. The date defaults to today.
Fixed
  • When a permit cannot be issued, the screen now shows the actual reason instead of a generic message.
v2.230.0June 28, 2026

Issue permits to work

Authorized issuers can now issue permits to work from the new Permits screen, with eleven permit types, type-baked numbering, and structured sign-off.

Added
  • New Permits screen under Compliance. Authorized issuers pick from eleven permit types (hot work, confined space entry, ground disturbance, working at heights, electrical and lockout, breaking containment, radiography, commissioning, vehicle entry, general and cold work, and blanket) and issue a permit.
  • Each permit reuses the AI hazard suggestions, energy wheel, location, and weather capture, plus a permit-specific section and a structured sign-off for the issuer, receiver, and an optional area authority, each with their role and company.
  • Permit numbers are baked with their type and run in sequence per year, for example HW-2026-0001 for hot work and CSE-2026-0001 for confined space entry.
  • Issuers set how long the permit is valid at issue. The permit shows its number, type, status, and validity window on its detail page, and all issued permits are listed on the Permits screen.
v2.229.0June 28, 2026

Permits: groundwork

The first piece of the new Permit to Work module. Owner and admin can now choose which members are allowed to issue permits.

Added
  • Permit issuing is now a controlled permission. On the team management screen, an owner or admin can mark which members are allowed to issue permits. Owners and admins can always issue. The permit issuing, lifecycle, and PDF features build on this and are coming next.
v2.228.0June 27, 2026

A tighter inspection PDF

Shorter sections like job details and site information now sit side by side, signatures fit three across, and the whole record is more compact.

Improved
  • Short sections are now paired into two columns in the PDF, so job details and site information sit side by side instead of stacking down the page.
  • Worker signatures now fit three across instead of two, and spacing throughout the PDF is tighter, so a typical record takes fewer pages.
v2.227.0June 27, 2026

A better FLHA PDF

The exported FLHA now shows the full energy wheel, fits more on each page, and keeps section headings with their content.

Improved
  • The FLHA PDF now draws the energy wheel exactly as it appears in the app, with a colour-coded icon for each source present on the task and a count in the centre.
  • The PDF layout is more compact, so a typical assessment takes fewer pages, and section headings now stay with their content instead of being left alone at the bottom of a page.
  • Added a little more space between the count and the "of 10" label in the centre of the energy wheel, on screen and in the PDF.
v2.226.0June 27, 2026

Editable FLHAs with a change log

A field-level hazard assessment can now be updated through the day. Every edit is saved to the same record with a full revision history of who changed what and when.

Added
  • FLHA assessments can now be edited after they are submitted, so a crew can update hazards, controls, and PPE as conditions change through the day instead of starting a new form. Open a submitted FLHA and tap Edit.
  • Every edit is recorded in a Revision History on the assessment and in its PDF, showing who made the change, when, and which fields changed. Editing is limited to the worker who submitted the assessment or a manager.
v2.225.0June 27, 2026

A clearer energy wheel

The energy wheel is bigger, has an icon for each source, reads on dark and light themes, and new hazards now appear at the top.

Improved
  • The energy wheel is now larger, with a distinct icon for each of the ten energy sources and a bold count of how many are present on the task. It is styled to read clearly on both dark and light themes.
Fixed
  • Adding a hazard by hand now places it at the top of the list instead of the bottom, so the new entry is in view right away rather than off the bottom of the screen.
v2.224.0June 27, 2026

Energy wheel on the FLHA

Classify each task hazard by its source of energy, with AI suggestions and a visual wheel.

Added
  • Hazards on a Field-Level Hazard Assessment can now be classified by their energy source from the energy wheel: gravity, motion, mechanical, electrical, pressure, temperature, chemical, biological, radiation, or sound.
  • When you generate hazards for a task, each suggestion comes pre-classified by energy source. A small energy wheel shows which energies the task involves at a glance, and you can change the classification on any hazard.
  • The energy classification carries through to the submitted record and the PDF, so the completed FLHA shows the energy sources present alongside each hazard.
v2.223.0June 27, 2026

Today's Paperwork now shows everything

The daily view now includes toolbox talks, observations, and incident reports alongside forms.

Added
  • Today's Paperwork now pulls in toolbox talks, observations, and incident reports, not just forms, so the whole day's field record is in one place.
  • A type filter lets you narrow to Forms, Toolbox, Observations, or Incidents. Each entry is tagged by type and links straight to its record.
v2.222.0June 27, 2026

Today's Paperwork

A new tab that shows every form your crews submitted today, with the last 7 days, and it works offline.

Added
  • New Today's Paperwork tab under Safety. See every form and inspection submitted today at a glance, with the previous seven days one tap away.
  • Managers and oversight see the whole crew, with a project filter and search; workers see their own submissions. Each day shows a count, fails are flagged, and every entry links to the full record.
  • The whole view is cached for offline use, so you can pull up a crew’s paperwork for the day even with no signal.
v2.221.0June 27, 2026

Toolbox Talks: assign one talk to several facilitators

For projects with more than one work group, assign the same talk to multiple facilitators at once.

Added
  • When assigning a talk, you can now select multiple facilitators instead of just one. Pick a project and the list shows that project’s crew to choose from.
  • Each facilitator gets their own copy in the Assigned to me tab and their own email, and captures the attendance for their own work group, just like a single assignment.
v2.220.1June 27, 2026

Fix: release notes and What is new could fail to load

Corrected an issue that could make some pages show an unexpected error.

Fixed
  • Fixed an error that could make the Release Notes page, and the What is new panel, fail to load on some devices. No data was affected.
