Permits, people and evidence a hundred kilometres from signal.
Wellsite, drilling, well servicing and pipeline crews work where the paperwork is hardest to keep. TruStar Connect issues hot work, confined space and LOTO permits with a full signature chain, tracks who is qualified to be on the lease, and keeps working when the truck loses bars. Everything syncs the moment it is back in range.

Why energy operators choose it
Built for work that happens past the last cell tower
Permits with a real signature chain
Hot work, confined space, working at heights and LOTO, each numbered by type with its own hazards, controls and sign-offs, and a public QR page so anyone at the gate can check a permit is live.
Offline is the default, not a mode
Crews complete permits, inspections and forms with no signal at all. Nothing is re-keyed when they get back, and nothing is lost if the day ends before the signal returns.
Readiness for your certifying partner
The audit readiness module maps your program to the current COR standard element by element, so you know your score before the auditor books the trip out.
Who is cleared to be on this lease
Certifications, expiries and required training by role and site, with gaps flagged before a worker is dispatched rather than after a prime contractor asks.

The permit is the paperwork
A permit somebody can actually check.
A hot work permit is only worth the process behind it. TruStar Connect numbers each permit by type, attaches the hazards and controls that type demands, routes it through the issuer and the signatories in order, and holds it open for the window you set. Close-out and revalidation are part of the record, not a separate binder.
Because the whole platform is included, the things a permit depends on are in the same place: the gas readings logged against the entry, the workers whose confined space tickets are current, the equipment whose last inspection passed. An auditor asking how you controlled the work gets one answer instead of four.
Worked example
A 100-worker operation
TruStar Connect, Pro plan
Covers 51 to 150 workers. Grow from 100 to 140 people and your price does not move.
Typical per-user safety software
With per-seat pricing, 100 workers means 100 licences. Add 40 more and the bill grows again. Run the math on your own crew and compare it to one flat number.
Independently reviewed
Rated by the safety teams who use it
TruStar Connect is listed and reviewed on the three directories buyers actually check before they shortlist safety software. Every review is verified by the directory, not by us.
Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice are independent software directories owned by Gartner. Reviews are collected and verified by them, and TruStar Safety has no ability to edit or remove what a reviewer writes.
The lease, in one login
What the crew carries, and what you can prove
Energy work is spread across sites nobody visits twice in a week. These are the pieces that keep it provable without a second trip.

Permits to work
Issued, signed and monitored.
Each permit type carries its own hazards, controls and signatory roles. Set the window, capture the sign-offs in order, and monitor it from a public QR page anyone on site can scan.

Offline mode
The lease road does not stop the work.
Permits, inspections, forms and photos are captured with no signal and upload themselves when the truck is back in range. The banner tells the crew exactly what is still waiting.

Audit readiness
Your score before the trip out.
Element-by-element scoring against the current COR standard, with the evidence attached as you work rather than assembled the week the auditor calls.

TruStar One Card
Tickets checked at the gate.
A digital training card per worker with a QR code anyone can scan to verify certifications. Print a wallet card or keep it on the phone.
Pricing, in the open
Pick a worker band. Get everything.
Every plan includes the entire platform. You are only choosing how many workers you cover.
Enterprise
150+ workers
Tailored pricing for large operations.
Straight answers
Questions buyers ask us
Does it work with no cell signal?
Yes, and that is the point rather than a feature bolted on. Permits, inspections, forms, photos and observations are all captured offline and sync themselves once the device is back in range. The crew sees exactly how many captures are still waiting on the device.
Does it handle confined space entry properly?
Yes. Confined space permits carry the classification you pick, the entry log and gas readings taken at the hole, the attendant and entrant sign-offs, and the close-out. The classification definitions come from your province’s own legislation rather than our paraphrase of it.
We are certified through Energy Safety Canada. Does the readiness module fit?
The readiness module maps to the current COR audit standard your certifying partner uses, element by element. It is the same structure whichever partner certifies you.
Can a prime contractor check our permits and tickets?
Yes. Every permit gets a public QR page showing whether it is live, and every worker gets a digital training card with a scan-to-verify code. Neither needs the person scanning to have an account.
Do subcontractors cost extra?
No. Subcontractors are unlimited and free on every plan, and they never count toward your worker limit. Each one gets a portal to manage their own workers and training against your projects.
Is our data held in Canada?
Yes. TruStar Connect is hosted in Canada (ca-central-1) and built to align with PIPEDA and Alberta PIPA.
