Electrical & mechanical safety software

You cannot bid the work without the certificate.

Trade contractors live on somebody else’s site, under somebody else’s program, and get asked for evidence at the least convenient moment. TruStar Connect keeps every journeyperson and apprentice ticket current, scores your COR readiness against the standard general contractors ask about, and turns a prime contractor’s document request into a few minutes rather than an evening.

No credit card. No sales call. Full access. Set up in minutes.

Why trade contractors choose it

Made for the company that has to prove it, not the one asking

Tickets that never lapse quietly

Certifications tracked by worker, role and project, with expiries flagged well ahead and a review queue where a supervisor approves what gets added. A ticket that expires mid-job is caught before the job.

COR readiness, priced for a trade shop

The same element-by-element readiness scoring the big shops use, on flat pricing by worker band rather than a quote you have to ask for.

Answer the document request fast

Policies, procedures, training records and inspection history live in one library, so a prime contractor asking for evidence gets it from a search rather than a shared drive.

Field paperwork that fits a service van

Inspections, hazard assessments and toolbox talks on a phone, offline, with the record filed by day and project without anyone sorting it.

The apprentice ratio

Know which tickets are current before you dispatch.

A crew is only as billable as its tickets. TruStar Connect shows required training by role and by project, so you can tell before dispatch whether the person you are about to send is cleared for that site — and the training matrix shows the whole shop at once rather than one file at a time.

New and short service workers get the same treatment: a signed mentorship agreement, a competency evaluation and a graduation sign-off, with a crew-ratio warning if too many apprentices land on one crew. That is the record a general contractor asks about after an incident.

Worked example

A 100-worker operation

TruStar Connect, Pro plan

$1,099CAD / mo, flat

Covers 51 to 150 workers. Grow from 100 to 140 people and your price does not move.

Typical per-user safety software

100 ×per-user rate, every month

With per-seat pricing, 100 workers means 100 licences. Add 40 more and the bill grows again. Run the math on your own crew and compare it to one flat number.

Independently reviewed

Rated by the safety teams who use it

TruStar Connect is listed and reviewed on the three directories buyers actually check before they shortlist safety software. Every review is verified by the directory, not by us.

Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice are independent software directories owned by Gartner. Reviews are collected and verified by them, and TruStar Safety has no ability to edit or remove what a reviewer writes.

The whole shop, one screen.

Required training by role, site and project, with a letter on each cell saying why a course is required and an export that reads correctly months later.

Verified at the gate.

Each worker carries a card with a QR code anyone can scan to check certifications, with no account needed by the person scanning.

COR readiness

The certificate that wins tenders.

Element-by-element scoring against the current standard, so the certification you need to bid stays current instead of becoming a project.

Inspections and forms

Field paperwork that fits a van.

Build a form, scan a paper one, or describe it in a sentence. Crews complete them on a phone, offline, and the record files itself.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask us

We are a subcontractor on other people’s sites. Is this for us?

Yes, and it is the case the platform handles best. You keep your own program, tickets and evidence in one place, and when a general contractor asks for documents you produce them from a search. If a customer uses TruStar Connect too, you can also keep your roster current in their free subcontractor portal.

Can we track apprentice ratios?

Yes. New and short service workers can be enrolled in a mentorship program with a signed agreement and a competency evaluation, and a crew-ratio warning fires when a crew has more workers still in their term than your ratio allows.

How far ahead are expiring tickets flagged?

Certification expiries surface on the worker’s file, in the training matrix, on crew readiness and in the scheduled expiry reminder email, well before the date rather than on it.

Do we need to be COR certified to use it?

No. Plenty of shops start here to get organized and use the readiness module as the path toward certification when a customer starts asking.

Is pricing published?

Yes. Flat plans by worker band, in Canadian dollars, on the pricing page. No demo gate and no per-seat arithmetic.
