Inviting users and setting supervisors
Add people to your organization and define who reports to whom.
The Users page is where you bring your team on board. Inviting someone sends them an email to set their password and join your organization.
- 1Open Users
You can reach it from the sidebar under Settings, or from the Users card on the Organization page.
- 2Invite a person by email
Enter their email and choose a role. They receive an invitation to finish setting up their account.
- 3Set their supervisor
Choose who this person reports to. Completed corrective actions route to that supervisor for verification. Leave it as No supervisor only when nobody is above them.
- 4Resend or manage invitations
Pending invitations can be resent if someone misses the email. You can deactivate a person later without losing their history.
Somebody who already uses TruStar Connect with another company accepts your invitation with the account they have. They sign in, and your organization is added to theirs.
The member list shows active people by default. Deactivated users are tucked into a separate Deactivated tab, so the main view stays clean while their records are still available when you need them.
To take a deactivated person off your roster for good, open them and choose Remove from organization. Their records stay with you, and they keep their account and any other organization they belong to. Invite them again to have them back.
A worker with a supervisor has a clear path for their work to be checked. Set supervisors as you invite people so nothing falls through the cracks on day one.
