The TruStar One Card is a digital training card for every worker. It shows their photo, name, job title, and approved certifications, each with a live status: valid, expiring soon, or expired (shown in red).

Opening a card

  • Workers open their own card from My Profile.
  • If you take Academy courses on your own, without a company, open One Card from the menu: along the bottom of a phone, or across the top on a computer.
  • Managers and admins open any worker's card from that person's user profile under Users.

Your own card also lists every certificate you earned in Connect with a Download button, so the PDF and its wallet card are always one tap away.

Print produces a wallet-sized card to cut out and carry, branded with the TruStar logo and showing the photo, name, company, and the verification QR code.

The QR code

Each card carries a QR code. Anyone on site can scan it to open a public page that verifies the worker's current certifications, with no sign-in needed. The page always reflects the latest record.

A certificate with a copy on file has a small download icon beside it, on the card and on the public page. It opens the certificate itself: the PDF for a course finished in Connect, or the scan or photo uploaded for it. Only approved certificates appear, and removing a certificate takes its download away too.

Always current

Certifications come straight from the training records, so a card never goes stale. Approving or updating a certification updates the card and the scan page right away.
