COR / SECOR readiness
Assess your safety program against the COR audit elements and track your readiness score.
COR / SECOR Readiness scores your safety program across the ten audit elements and estimates how ready you are for a certification or recertification audit. It reflects your management system; it is not a guaranteed audit result.
COR or SECOR
Choose your certification type in the program details. COR uses the full audit element set. SECOR uses the small-employer instrument (for ten employees or fewer), scored against its own questions and point weighting. Switching type switches the requirements, the scoring, and the pass bar.
How the score works
For each requirement you mark whether it is in place, partial, missing, or not applicable. The tool rolls these into a percentage per element and overall. SECOR questions are weighted by their published point value so the estimate tracks the real scoring.
Audit year and org type
- Certification year: 80% overall with at least 50% in every element.
- Maintenance year: 60% overall, with no per-element minimum.
- SECOR owner/operator: 80% overall with no per-element minimum, and owner/operator questions are scored automatically as not applicable.
Who can do what
- Owners, admins, and managers complete the assessment and record the certificate details.
- Every member can view the readiness dashboard.
AI assessment
The AI assessment does everything in one step. It pulls in evidence from your other modules (inspections, investigations, training, hazards, toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and emergency records), reviews your document library, links the documents it finds to each requirement, and proposes a status for every requirement with a short rationale. It reads scanned PDFs and photos of documents, not just typed ones, so an uploaded signed policy still counts. Where it links a document as evidence, the requirement is marked in place. The Health and Safety Policy is the exception: it stays governed by the annual sign-off rule, so it only reaches in place when a signed policy is on file. Findings are badged AI or Auto-credited so you can tell them apart. It never overwrites a finding you set by hand, and you can change anything afterward. Re-run it any time you add documents or log activity.
Certificate and records
Upload your current COR or SECOR certificate, a previous audit, or an action plan as an image or PDF. These are stored with the program so your renewal date and evidence stay in one place.
Action plan
The readiness page shows an action plan card with live counts of open, in progress, and done actions, and opens the full plan. Every requirement scored partial or missing becomes an action with a clear recommendation drawn from what that requirement needs. Track each action as open, in progress, or done, set a due date, assign an owner, and keep working notes on each one (progress, blockers, who is handling it). When you assign someone, the action appears in their My Tasks list. Before you can mark an action done, you record what was done (for example, developed and approved a policy); that record is kept with the action and shows under the Completed list with the date it was finished. Use Regenerate after you reassess to rebuild a fresh list from your current gaps. Outstanding generated actions are cleared and replaced, but any you marked done are kept under the Completed heading as a record of what you finished, and actions you added by hand are kept too. Everyone in your organization can see the plan; owners, admins, and managers edit it.
Draft a document with AI
When an action is about a missing or weak policy or plan, use Draft with AI on that action. It writes a starting document into the right folder in your library, tailored to your business and jurisdiction. If a matching document already exists, it updates that one and bumps its revision instead of creating a duplicate. Review, edit, and approve from the document editor.
Link evidence to each requirement
The AI assessment links evidence automatically, but you can manage it yourself. In the assessment, each requirement has an Evidence row. Use Link evidence to attach documents from your library that prove that requirement (a policy, a procedure, a signed record). Linking a document marks the requirement in place. Linked documents show as chips you can remove, and they are what the evidence binder files under each element. Workers can see what is linked; owners, admins, and managers can change it.
Export the evidence binder
From the readiness page, Export evidence binder produces a single zip organized into one folder per audit element (01 through 10), following the elements listed in your readiness breakdown. Each element folder contains an index of its requirements with status and approval sign-off, followed by the documents you linked as evidence. A readiness summary sits at the top, and your certificate and uploaded records are filed under Certificate and Records. Generating the binder can take a moment while each document is rendered. Review it for completeness before sending it to your auditor.
Evidence by site
Your readiness score covers the company, because that is what a COR audit assesses. What an auditor then does is pick a site and expect to find the program running there. The evidence-by-site breakdown shows what each project has produced in the last twelve months across inspections, investigations, hazards, toolbox talks and observations, and names anything missing. A project with nothing on record is flagged plainly: it is the one most likely to be sampled. Closed projects are listed but never counted as a gap. Training and documents are not broken down this way because they belong to a person or to the organization, not to a site.
Freeze an assessment
Your readiness score is always calculated from your records as they stand today, which means it changes as your program changes. Before an audit, freeze it: give the snapshot a name (for example, 2026 certification audit) and it keeps that score permanently, along with which requirements were met and whether a person, the AI assessment, or your own records credited each one. A frozen assessment can never be edited or recalculated, by anyone, so it still tells the truth about the day you took it even after documents expire or get replaced. Owners, admins, and managers can freeze; everyone can see the list of past ones.
SECOR eligibility
For SECOR, a pre-check sits above your score. Record your peak headcount, the required courses, the assessor training, your documentation window, and your last assessor course date, and the dashboard flags anything that would stop a submission (for example more than ten employees, or a lapsed three-year continuing-education course).
Record your certificate expiry and the dashboard counts down to renewal, flagging when you are within six months and should book your audit.
